Hi there! I'm Michelle Morris, the heart and soul behind Edify Universe. I'm a proud momma of five incredible young adult daughters and the lucky grandma of two even more amazing granddaughters. Growing up on Maryland's Eastern Shore instilled a deep sense of community and resilience in me, values I carried with me when I relocated to the DMV area in 2019.

Life hasn't always been easy. As a teen mom & young wife, I navigated the challenges of starting adulthood at a young age. I've experienced the highs and lows of marriage & divorce, even faced the struggle of homelessness & so many more life lessons. But through it all, there have been countless triumphs. Each trial by fire shaped me into the woman I am today.

My story is one of overcoming obstacles, finding strength in vulnerability, and ultimately, figuring out this crazy thing called life. But it's not just my story. As a serial entrepreneur who has successfully run multiple businesses, I've learned valuable lessons about perseverance and creating your own success.

What I discovered along the way is that I have a gift for uplifting others. Whether it's sharing my experiences to offer hope, being a sounding board for friends and strangers alike, or simply "speaking life" into people, I find immense joy in helping others navigate their own journeys.

Edify Universe is the culmination of my life experiences. It's a place where I use my trials, tribulations, and triumphs as a catalyst to be a beacon of light for others.
